Many people who come to the restaurant
ask"Alldays and Onions? What does it mean? Are there onions in
everything you serve?" Although the name sounds whimsical, it is
derived from a very real manufacturing company which was
established in Birmingham England by John Onions and William
Alldays in the late 1800's. Although they made a number of
products, in 1904 they manufactured the first Alldays and Onions
car seen here. There are several heroic accounts on the internet
from antique car enthusiasts who have managed to restore some of
these rare vehicles.
